How to Install Oled Control

Get started with Oled Control by downloading and installing the app on your device. This guide covers all supported platforms and installation methods.

Supported Platforms

Oled Control is available on multiple platforms:

• iOS: iPhone and iPad (iOS 14.0 or later)
• macOS: Mac computers (macOS 11.0 Big Sur or later)
• Android: Android devices (Android 7.0 or later)
• Windows: Coming soon

iOS Installation

App Store Installation

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Search for "Oled Control" in the search tab
3. Tap "Get" to download the app
4. Wait for installation to complete
5. Open the app from your home screen

TestFlight Beta (Early Access)

For the latest features and updates:

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store (if not already installed)
2. Visit our TestFlight invitation link or scan the QR code
3. Tap "Accept" to join the beta program
4. Install Oled Control from TestFlight
5. Launch the app to get started

Note: Beta versions may contain experimental features and bugs. Use at your own discretion.

macOS Installation

Mac App Store

1. Open the Mac App Store on your Mac
2. Search for "Oled Control"
3. Click "Get" to download
4. Install and launch the app

Direct Download

1. Visit our website at oledcontrol.xyz
2. Click "Download for Mac"
3. Open the downloaded .dmg file
4. Drag Oled Control to your Applications folder
5. Launch from Applications or Spotlight

Security Note: If you see a security warning, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and click "Open Anyway."

Android Installation

Google Play Store

1. Open Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Search for "Oled Control"
3. Tap "Install" to download
4. Open the app once installation is complete

APK Installation (Advanced Users)

1. Enable Unknown Sources in Settings > Security
2. Download the APK from our official website
3. Install the APK file by tapping on it
4. Grant necessary permissions when prompted

Warning: Only download APK files from official sources to avoid security risks.

System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• iOS: iOS 14.0+, iPhone 6s or newer
• macOS: macOS 11.0+, Intel or Apple Silicon Mac
• Android: Android 7.0+, 2GB RAM minimum

Recommended Requirements

• iOS: iOS 15.0+, iPhone 12 or newer
• macOS: macOS 12.0+, Apple Silicon Mac preferred
• Android: Android 10.0+, 4GB RAM or more

Network Requirements

• Wi-Fi connection on the same network as your LG OLED TV
• Internet connection for initial setup and updates
• Router with UPnP/DLNA support (most modern routers)

First Launch Setup

After installation, you'll need to:

1. Grant network permissions when prompted
2. Allow local network access (iOS 14+ requirement)
3. Connect to your Wi-Fi network if not already connected
4. Ensure your LG TV is on and connected to the same network

Troubleshooting Installation Issues

iOS Issues

App won't download:

• Check your internet connection
• Verify you have enough storage space
• Try restarting your device

App won't open:

• Force close and reopen the app
• Restart your iPhone/iPad
• Check for iOS updates

macOS Issues

"App can't be opened" error:

• Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy
• Click "Open Anyway" next to the security warning
• Right-click the app and select "Open"

App not showing in Applications:

• Check your Downloads folder
• Re-download the installer
• Verify the .dmg file mounted correctly

Android Issues

Installation failed:

• Enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser
• Check available storage space
• Clear Google Play Store cache

App crashes on launch:

• Restart your device
• Clear app cache and data
• Reinstall the application
